Adding a parent is one of the first steps to getting started with Tutonomy if you're teaching a pupil who is under 16. Once a parent is in your system, you can schedule lessons for their child, send reminders, track payments, and communicate easily — all in one place and without breaching safeguarding requirements.

1. Click the green plus icon from any screen

2. Click 'Add a Pupil'

3. Select 'Pupil is under 16'

• For all pupils under 16 you should add the pupil's parent or guardian.

• All communication will be sent to the pupil's parent or guardian.

4. Add the parent or guardian's information

5. Click 'Add Parent or Guardian'

• That’s it! Your parent is now saved and their child is ready to be scheduled for lessons.
